Jag Gillan CEO
Mr. Gillan brings to Datawitness a unique blend of operational, legal and transactional knowledge. He has held positions as CEO of DomainPeople Inc. (9th official registrar worldwide), General Manager of NetNation Communications (NASDAQ listed), and Director of Strategic Relations of Hostway Corporation. Prior to managing Internet companies, he practiced law in the areas of technology and internet law. Currently Mr. Gillan is also in-house legal counsel to Datawitness Online Ltd. Mr. Gillan graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Victoria, British Columbia; a Masters in Business Administration from the Edinburgh School of Business in the U.K.; and earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall at York University, Ontario.
Karim Allibhai Director Of Sales
Mr. Allibhai provides 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. His successful projects range from small start-up family businesses to starting up and executing a successful business unit for a TSX-listed information technology company. He has reached or exceeded company revenue goals in business sectors including information technology, service, high tech environmental, and advisory services to corporations. Mr. Allibhai completed his formal education as a Systems Programmer Analyst at the DeVry Institute of Technology.
Byron Morton Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Morton contributes an extensive background in building and managing hardware and software infrastructures for Internet companies. He earned an Internet and Systems Analyst diploma as well as his MCSE Certification at Royal Roads University. He has developed and maintained database-driven web applications for clients both large and small in diverse industries. He brings System Administration experience and a clear knowledge of large-scale applications and services which was gained through many years of employment at one of Canada's leading web hosting companies.
Kris Obertas Manager, Customer Care
Mr. Obertas brings 10 years of experience in planning, designing, and building marketing materials. While working in the printing and publicity industries, he created printed collateral for businesses, organizations, and individuals. As a consultant, he designed web sites, wrote web and print copy, and programmed database-backed web sites. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and furthered his education with post-graduate courses in marketing, technology, and design.
Alex Bolongaro Director
Mr. Bolongaro is a realtor with Dexter Associates Realty. He has envisioned how technology can revolutionize the real estate industry and has invested in Datawitness and agreed to become a director in order to further that vision. Prior to being a realtor Mr. Bolongaro has managed large real estate investments and multi-complex units. His intimate involvement in real estate transactions has provided him an insight to the working of BC-Online and forms the basis of his vision for the scope of the Datawitness technology. Mr. Bolongaro has a bachelor of economics degree from the University of Victoria, BC.
Sunny Thinda Director
Dr. Thinda is a clinical psychologist specializing in the areas of psycho-medical legal assessments, Comprehensive multidisciplinary pain assessments (CMPA), rehabilitation assessments, learning disability assessments (LDA), and psychovocational assessments (PVA). Dr. Thinda primary focus is Cognitive-Behavioural therapy: Topics of therapy include pain and stress management, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment to loss and/or significant life changes, anger/frustration, decision-making, and problem solving. Dr. Thinda is also a sessional lecturer and Faculty member at Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he teaches courses in Cognitive – Behavioural Treatment of Psychopathology, Cross-Cultural Psychology, Chronic Pain, Rehabilitation Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychological Treatment in Multidisciplinary Settings, Psychological Assessment (Medico-Legal, Learning Disability in Adults, Chronic Pain). Dr Thinda holds a B.Sc. (U of Calgary), M.A. (Forest Institute, Springfield, Missouri), Psy.D. (Forest Institute, Springfield, Missouri) and R. Psych (Registered Psychologist, CPBC).
